Gas powered augers sometimes referred to as earth augers or earth drills are available in 1 man, 2 man models and a 1 man hydraulic towable model.

The towable hydraulic model is a breeze to operate. This auger is balanced which takes the main load of supporting the machine off of the operator, reducing fatigue. This unit has a reverse mode that takes the worry out of getting the bit stuck and make for easy hole clean out.

Depending on the model these earth augers can handle bit sizes ranging from 1.5” to 18” and 3’ extensions are available for deeper drilling applications.
These units are ideal for drilling fence post, small piers, soil sampling etc. Always check to make sure there are no water, gas, electrical or other utilities that could affect your safety while operating this equipment.
