Everyone at BlueLine Rental is very excited about the changes that are occurring here at the company. What I would like to share with you today is that along with our new company name and brand, we are adding to our already comprehensive line of equipment with machines from additional vendors.

What this means to our customers, is that they will be able to find more of what they need in one place. The addition of new, trusted vendors to our inventory increases their ability to get what they need – when they need it. This adds to the ease it takes to complete their projects.

The Occupational Safety & Health Administration (OSHA) recently released the Top 10 most cited standards in the United States for 2013. Each year they release a list of the most frequently cited standard violations and this year’s list is very similar to last year’s.  This tells us one thing – we all need to be more safety conscience and aware of the information we are given.

The report, in addition to listing the most cited standards, also identifies key areas where companies and their employees can concentrate their efforts to achieve a safer work environment.  Here too, knowing this information will help avoid commonly experienced work safety issues.

This past winter has proven to be extremely difficult for the construction industry in many markets throughout North America.  Although winter is retaining its gripping hold in several areas, spring is on the way and with the warmer weather we typically can look forward to an increase in construction activities.

Associated Builders and Contractors’ (ABC) recently reported in depth on that subject.    According to their Chief Economist, Anirban Basu, the brutal winter which has wrought havoc upon major markets has made economic data difficult to interpret. “Economists have been forced to consider whether recent economic weakness is temporary and attributable to the weather, or whether it points to yet another disappointing year,” Basu said.
